Fun Facts regarding "Bird Against the Storm" (5/12/11):

* This is the Lair of the Evil Dragon instance dungeon theme for the MMORPG "LaTale."

* Yes, that's the dungeon's boss, Invoke, in the banner and background, complete
with supersized life gauge behind him. He may be cute (in an ugly way), but
he is NOT pleasant. Trust me.

* I charted this because it's an epic instrumental. Kinda slow though during
  those slowdown sections.

* The Lair is full of dangerous lava rock pits; you will be avoiding these in
the form of lines of mines during the slowdown sections on all difficulties
other than Novice. Be careful to jump over them - landing in one could cost
you more than a little health!

* You'll also face individual mines during the chorus on the same difficulties;
those annoying Fieries just don't know when to quit. :/

* For the above reasons, due to it fitting the theme, this song's most major
  concern is mines.

--- Play LaTale? ---
* This stepartist plays LaTale. The Lair of the Evil Dragon is actually the
game's very first instance dungeon: many players who want to jump right into
it end up being unprepared because they haven't tried one before. Players
may be able to make it to the dungeon's entrance portal as early as level 15,
but entering an instance requires players to form a party with at least one
other person, and rightly so: the enemies in the Lair should not be faced until
the player's at least got some quests to kill them, around level 25 or so,
and they should absolutely not face the dungeon's dragon boss, Invoke, until
at least level 35 if they want Invoke's monster card for the boss quest as
proof that they faced him. Level 35 is the minimum requirement for the
game's first story endeavor: to locate and battle Zoe, the player must be
on a party that goes deeper into the dungeon after Invoke runs away following
the first fight, and assist in defeating the angrier Invoke EX (if they plan
on actually helping rather than sitting it out, they should be at least
level 40 or 45, as Invoke's attacks are more powerful during the second
phase than they were before). A well-organized party of level 40s should
be able to best Invoke EX in about 8-12 minutes. All players who have the
Zoe quest can then go to the special story area (players who already completed
it cannot help, as their exit portal actually takes them out of the dungeon),
where they will find Zoe. Even if the player cannot be accompanied by others
due to their already having completed the quest, Zoe, like most other storyline
secondary bosses, can be fought solo: like the others, Zoe's attacks aren't
really all that powerful, she just has a TON of HP: this means all the player
really needs to be able to do is have the determination to outlast her: bring
tons of healing items, and in about 10-15 minutes the fight should be over.

* Since Aeria's server shut down, this stepartist has started a character on
OGPlanet's server, but since I have no viable internet connection from home
as of this writing, poor Narina will remain level 25 until I do.
